The three performances at the Davie Pro Rodeo arena, 4201 SW 65th Way, on November 13, 14 and 15 are the Southeastern Circuit Finals, where a season of results gets settled. Under the 2026 ground rules, the top finishers in each event earn a trip to the NFR Open.
Six days later, the same Bergeron Rodeo Grounds host the Town's Holiday Craft Show and Green Fair, and admission is free. So the arena anchors two straight November weekends, one with a ticketed championship and one open to anyone. A few new places nearby, on Stirling Road and in the Town's parks, fill in the rest of the month.
What the Finals Actually Decide
A circuit finals rodeo is the last stop of a regional season. PRCA rules list who gets in. A contestant has to designate the circuit, meet its participation requirements, finish inside the circuit's selected field and officially enter. Depending on the circuit, that field is 10, 12 or 15 contestants. Everyone in the Davie arena that weekend earned a spot during the year.
The 2026 Circuit Finals Ground Rules lay out how advancement works in each event:
- Money won at the circuit finals is added to that contestant's year-end circuit standings.
- The year-end money winner advances to the NFR Open, also called the National Circuit Finals Rodeo. To qualify, they must meet the participation requirements and compete in every go-round of the finals.
- The circuit finals average champion also advances, under the same participation and go-round conditions.
- If the average champion can't advance because of the participation count, the berth goes to the next qualified contestant in the average standings.
That second and third points shape the whole weekend. A contestant who led the circuit all year can still be passed, because finals earnings count toward the year-end total. A contestant who arrived further down can win the average across all three performances and go anyway. Saturday and Sunday go-rounds matter in a way they don't at a single-night rodeo. Nobody advances on the average without riding every round.
Three Performances, and a Price Change on November 9
The schedule runs Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m., then Sunday, November 15 at 2 p.m. The Sunday matinee is the last go-round, so it's when the average race finishes.
Ticket prices go up partway through the run-up. On the morning this post goes live, the lower tier is still on sale for four more days.
| Ticket | Through Monday, Nov. 9 at 7 a.m. | Nov. 9 at 7 a.m. until the event |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | $32 | $35 |
| Child, ages 3–12 | $12 | $15 |
| Ages 2 and under | Free | Free |
| VIP | $100 | $100 |
A family of two adults and two children pays $88 before the change and $100 after it. The Davie Pro Rodeo ticket page also says only its authorized ticket options are valid. Tickets bought from third parties will not be accepted at the gate.
Saturday the 14th Starts in a Garden
The middle day of the finals has an early start in western Davie, if you want one. On November 14 from 9 to 10 a.m., the Town is holding a free gardening workshop on plant nutrition at the Davie Community Garden, 4005 S. Hiatus Road. Admission and parking are both free. The Town's announcement has the details.
That leaves more than nine hours before the 7:30 p.m. Saturday performance. The new openings on Stirling Road are a good way to fill part of them.
Dinner Before the Gates on Stirling Road
Two restaurants have opened next to each other on Stirling Road since late summer. Southern Luv BBQ at 6819 Stirling Road serves pecan-smoked meats and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It was in soft opening by late September, and its grand opening moved up a day to Friday, October 16 at 4 p.m.
Next door at 6815 Stirling Road, Wing Snob now shows the Davie address and daily operating hours on its official location page. In August, WhatNow South Florida reported that the location had permits but no announced opening date. Davie Today's new-business roundup, updated October 8, lists both addresses. It dates their state licensing inspections to August 26 for Wing Snob and September 8 for Southern Luv.
Both kitchens stay open into the evening, which suits a Friday or Saturday performance at 7:30 p.m. Southern Luv's 10 p.m. closing also leaves time for a late plate after the arena empties.
One more opening is still pending. Whit's Frozen Custard at 2601 South University Drive is listed as "Opening Soon!" on its Davie page, with no date posted.
The Following Weekend, the Same Grounds Go Free
The finals end on Sunday afternoon, November 15. The next Saturday, the rodeo grounds take on a completely different job. The Holiday Craft Show and Green Fair runs Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds.
South Florida on the Cheap's 2026 listing describes a vendor fair with handmade items, plants and eco-friendly green products, plus live music and raffles. Entry and parking are free, and food is sold on site.
Put the two weekends side by side. The first is a $32 adult ticket and an evening show with season standings at stake. The second costs nothing to enter and runs in daylight. It's also a chance to start holiday shopping with local vendors before Thanksgiving week. The Town's event page is the place to check for final details before you go.
Two Town Facilities Reopened in Time for the Month
Two Town facilities came back online in the last week of October.
- Waterford Park, 15090 S. Waterford Drive. The Town held a ribbon cutting on Monday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. for an upgrade that added two tennis courts and six pickleball courts. The work also resurfaced the basketball courts, installed LED lighting, built a new asphalt trail, reconstructed sidewalks, and restored the racquetball and volleyball courts. The full list is in the Town's release.
- Pine Island Aquatic Center, 3800 SW 92nd Avenue. The center reopened on October 22 after repairs to its pool pumps, and normal programming and access resumed that day.
With these back in service, the weekdays between the two arena weekends have more to offer. Waterford Park's LED lighting means the courts and the new trail work after sunset, which comes early in November.
